The Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club kicks off the LPGA Tour for the fifth year in a row. The lineup is led by Rolex Ranking World No. 2 Nelly and comprises 29 LPGA Tour victories, including TOC champions Danielle Kang, the defending champion, and Gaby Lopez, the 2020 champion.
The LPGA Tour will begin the new year with the first tournament on January 19. The Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions will begin on Thursday and run through Sunday.

Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions Preview:
The greatest LPGA Tour players will compete for the winner’s share of the $1,500,000 cash in Florida. The prize money remains unchanged. The purse for the event began at $1.2 million, was boosted to $1.5 million in 2022, and will remain the same in 2023.
The event has completed four successful seasons since its start in 2019. The Hilton Grand Vacation Tournament of Champions field is limited to the previous two years’ winners. Golfers who have won on the LPGA Tour in the last two years are eligible to compete in the tournament.
The tournament will be held at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, in 2023, with 29 LPGA players competing.

Danielle Kang, the defending champion, will return to defend and reclaim her championship. World No. 2 Nelly Korda, Charley Hull, and Anna Nordqvist will join her.
Celine Boutier, a French professional golfer, will begin at 7:30 a.m. ET, followed by Nanna Koestrz Madsen, who will begin at 7:41 a.m. alongside Matilda Castren.
At 10:15 a.m., Maja Stark will take the day’s final shot. Nelly Korda takes the first tee at 9:53 a.m., followed by Danielle Kang at 9:31 a.m.
At 12:00, the Hilton Grand Vacation Tournament of Champions will be broadcast on the Peacock Network’s Golf Channel. The championship will also be broadcast on NBC on January 22, 2023, from 2 to 5 p.m. ET.
Jessica Korda, a former champion, will not compete in the tournament. Jessica’s sister Nelly, on the other hand, is vying for her first tournament victory.
Only two of the 29 great golfers in the field have won the title. Gaby Lopez won the Tournament of Champions in 2020, while Danielle Kang won the tournament in 2022.
