2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions Preview:

The holidays are over, and it’s time for the new PGA Tour season to get underway at the Tournament of Champions. In gorgeous Hawaii, a stellar field has gathered to make this a week to remember.

Jon Rahm is one among them. The former World No. 1 has dropped to No. 5, but he’s already showing signs of another great run this season. As a result, he’s been positioned as this week’s betting favourite.

The limited 39-player field includes 2022 major champions Justin Thomas, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Scottie Scheffler, all of whom are hoping to follow up their breakout season with another great year in 2023.

One and Done choices for the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions:

Luke List is one of the golfers McClure will be rooting for this week at the Plantation Course in Kapalua. The list is now ranked No. 95 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings, but McClure feels he is better than that and has the skill set to win every tournament he plays. The list has long been one of the PGA Tour’s top tee-to-green players, and when dialled in, he can be elite with his irons. In 2022, the 37-year-old won his first PGA Tour title at the Farmers Insurance Open.

The list wasn’t playing well prior to the December break, but McClure isn’t afraid to use the former Vanderbilt standout in One and Done pools this week. List demonstrated a year ago that he can win against an exceptional competition, and McClure is confident that he will finish at the top of the podium on Sunday. With the overall talent in the Sentry Tournament of Champions field, List may sail under the radar in one-and-done pools this week, delivering tremendous value.
