There are fresh additions to IMPACT Over Drive 2022 following the November 10 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, including the first-ever meeting between Mickie James and Taylor Wilde.
Jordynne Grace defeated Masha Slamovich at Bound For Glory to not only retain the Knockouts World Title but also to halt Masha’s remarkable undefeated record in 2022. Grace would have another successful championship defence the following month on IMPACT!, this time against “The Quintessential Diva” Gisele Shaw. But, following that match, Slamovich made a vindictive return, shocking Grace with a horrific steel chair assault.
Masha Slamovich made one thing clearly clear as she stood tall with the Knockouts World Title firmly in her grasp: she’s not done with Jordynne Grace. We now know that Over Drive will host the highly anticipated rematch between two of the most physically intense Knockouts of all time – but this is no ordinary contest. Grace and Slamovich will square off in a Last Knockout Standing bout in which the only way to win is to knock out your opponent for the count of ten.
Mickie James and Taylor Wilde, two IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts division legends, have been working together in recent weeks, as this is the first time they have both been on the roster simultaneously. Taylor has been requesting this match for several weeks, and it will finally take place on Friday, November 18, 2022, for the first time in Louisville, Kentucky.
Furthermore, the previously confirmed bout between Bully Ray and Moose will now be a Tables Match after Moose put former Bubba Ray Dudley through a table on November 10.
IMPACT Wrestling’s Over Drive event from Louisville, Kentucky, takes place next Friday. The match card for tonight’s IMPACT on AXS was amended, and a fresh addition was made in the shape of Taylor Wilde versus Mickie James.
Deonna Purrazzo attempted to intervene as Mickie was fighting Chelsea Green, but Wilde evened the score. Mickie informed Taylor last week that she did not require her assistance.
In addition, the previously scheduled battle between Moose and Bully Ray has been changed to a Tables match.
