In Croatia, 633 competitors representing 77 nations will compete for more than simply global crowns at the 2022 International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Championships Shotgun.
The Osijek tournament offers direct qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics, with 16 quota spots to be awarded in the individual events – 8 in Trap and 8 in Skeet.
There are world titles to be won in men’s and women’s team competitions (three shooters each) and mixed teams (one woman and one man) in Skeet and Trap, which could be crucial for Olympic selection with only one entire season of World Cup events remaining before the 2024 Games.
Many worlds and Olympic winners, medalists, and some newly crowned continental champions from the 2022 European Championship in Shotgun will be in attendance.
The action from the event may be seen live on Olympic Channel by visiting Olympics.com. Continue reading for more information on how to watch and the athletes expected to win the titles in Croatia.
