World Rugby Sevens Series 2022 Notable male athletes

On the male side, one needs to look no further than Terry Kennedy. The Irish winger scored an impressive 50 tries for the men’s team last season, making him practically unstoppable sometimes.

Marcos Moneta, a gold medalist sprinter at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, will also be crucial to his team’s prospects. The 2021 World Sevens Player of the Year is one of Argentina’s most reliable players after scoring 38 tries for the team last season despite missing the final round in Los Angeles.

Nick Malouf, the Australian captain, is a rock for his squad. He almost never makes a misstep. His skill in the unglamorous tasks of defense makes it possible for the quick guys to accomplish theirs.

Waisea Nacuqu has become a formidable competitor. Despite his relatively low profile, his ability to lead by example and innovate in the face of adversity won him a spot on Fiji’s 2021 Dream Team.

South African Zain Davids rounds out the list with a style that differs slightly from the norm for a sevens player but could be just as exciting thanks to his ability to run over his opponents and smash them into the ground.

World Rugby Sevens Series 2022 The Women’s Players to Keep an Eye On

When it comes to women’s sports, 2022 will be Maddison Levi’s breakout year. The Australian showed great spirit on both offense and defense in her rookie year, earning her the award for best newcomer. She will need to take over when a season has passed.

Mee-Leigh Murphy Amee The 36 tries scored by Irish players last year, thanks in large part to Crowe, put them at the top of the try-scoring statistics for both men and women. It was her second time receiving the honor, and only a fool would bet against her lighting the series on fire once more.

Charlotte Caslick, widely considered the best woman’s sevens player of all time, will be front and center once more. The fact that she was included in Australia’s Dream Team despite contributing 85 tackles, 27 breaks, 38 offloads, and 159 carries last year demonstrates her versatility and importance to the team’s strategy.

The success of the Fijian team in recent years may be directly attributed to Reapi Ulunisau. The half-back is an absolute scoring machine, and she always seems to come through for her side when they need her most.

At last, Seraphine Okemba. The Frenchwoman who won silver at the Olympics and bronze at the World Cup is equally at ease sprinting through or around her opponents, leaving them guessing about her next move.
