Several prominent ATP and WTA players have arrived in Adelaide ahead of Adelaide International 2, which will take place from January 9 to 14, 2023.

The women’s event is a WTA 500 with a strong field headlined by World No. 1 Iga Swiatek. Ons Jabeur, Caroline Garcia, Daria Kasatkina, and Veronika Kudermetova are also present.

Petra Kvitova, Garbine Muguruza, Barbora Krejcikova, Victoria Azarenka, Jelena Ostapenko, and Elena Rybakina are among the Grand Slam champions. Madison Keys also returns to defend her title.

Andrey Rublev is the men’s field leader and the lone top-10 player competing here. However, significant names in the draw include Pablo Carreno Busta, Karen Khachanov, and Roberto Bautista Agut. Meanwhile, defending champion Thanasi Kokkinakis would like to make it two in a row.

There have also been a handful of high-profile withdrawals, with Nick Kyrgios and Jessica Pegula both withdrawing from the tournament. While the former is out with an injury, the latter continues to compete in the United Cup. Nonetheless, there is a full house and lots of interesting matches scheduled for the week.
