The date for WWE NXT New Years Evil 2023 is January 10. This is the third annual New Year’s Evil special on NXT, and it airs every week. Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida is where the show will be broadcasted from.
Since there was never a WWE Day 1 (it was just a temporary premium live event), the first major show for WWE in 2023 will be an NXT special. On January 10, an ordinary episode of NXT New Years Evil will temporarily become New Year’s Evil. This is the big bash that will usher in the New Year for WWE’s third label. Those in the United States may tune in at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the USA Network, while those elsewhere can tune in to their local NXT New Years Evil broadcasts. Everything that has been announced as part of the show is included below.

WWE NXT New Years Evil 2023 Fight Preview:
Bron Breakker vs Grayson Waller for the WWE NXT New Years Evil
Grayson Waller won the first-ever men’s Iron Survivor Challenge on NXT’s biggest show of the year. In contrast to Roxanne Perez, Waller has held onto the opportunity he gained that night all the way into 2023, taunting champion Bron Breakker the whole time.
Waller will have to back up his claims with action at New Year’s Evil, and he won’t be able to wear a metal plate on his stomach for protection. This suggests that, despite Waller’s promising future in WWE, Breakker is unlikely to be dethroned very soon. Not in any reasonable time frame.
20-woman Battle Royal For A Shot At The Nxt Women’s Championship
While Roxanne Perez did indeed win the NXT Women’s Title last month, the controversy surrounding Mandy Rose immediately following the match has somewhat overshadowed her victory. The first challenger to the new champion can be chosen now that the drama has subsided. For that, New Year’s Evil will host a fight royale with 20 Superstars.
There are currently 20 women in NXT who are all Superstar caliber and ready for TV. There will be no major roster surprises next week because all twenty of the participants have already been announced. Perhaps Cora Jade will prevail so that she and Perez can square off once more, or Indi Hartwell will get a chance before she is called up.
Dijak Vs. Tony D’Angelo For A Shot At The Nxt North American Championship
In 2022, T-Bar went back to NXT under his previous name. Yes, in a sense. Although he has returned to the Retribution brand and is now known simply as Dijak, he has not done anything in that capacity in recent years. However, he will get the chance to advance toward a North American Title shot at New Year’s Evil.
To save Wes Lee and his championship from Tony D’Angelo, Dijak stepped in to rescue the current champion. That’s why we have this match for the number one contender spot, and Lee has already said the winner would get a shot at the title.

Indus Sher vs The Creed Brothers
Additionally, in 2022, Veer Mahaan returned to NXT. The primary cast’s montages lasted for months but ultimately accomplished very little. Thankfully, a regime shift occurred before Vince McMahon could have him released, so now Veer and Sanga can get ready to wreak havoc in NXT.
But I doubt they will start destroying anything just soon. This is a meaningless contest since The New Day already holds the NXT Tag Team Championships. A starter for The Creed Brothers’ main course, which will be their victory against New Day and the Vengeance Day championship match.
Four-way Gauntlet Tag Team Match For A Shot At The Nxt Tag Team Championships
Put that idea on hold. Maybe the next opportunity at New Day won’t go to The Creeds. Since The Creeds are preoccupied with other matters at the moment, it seems unlikely that they will participate in the four-way gauntlet match that will decide their next challengers at New Year’s Evil.
Only Pretty Deadly has been revealed among the four teams. Given that they were the ones to lose the crowns to New Day in the first place, it seems doubtful that they’ll go the distance and win this one.
Hank Walker vs Charlie Dempsey
It seems like there were a lot of NXT refunds in 2022. Charlie Dempsey, son of the returning William Regal, has been having a problem with Drew Gulak since the latter returned to the brand. However, they won’t be going head-to-head on New Year’s Eve.
Regal Jr. must first go off against Hank Walker, the protege of main roster star Dempsey, in order to gain access to Gulak. When it comes down to it, there isn’t much of a question about the outcome of this one. Dempsey will compete despite obviously being injured, and he should still win easily.
