Scotland vs. Ukraine live stream: How to watch Nations League fixture and kick-off time

Scotland vs. Ukraine narrowly missed out on the 2022 World Cup but will play their rescheduled Nations League League B Group 1 fixture on Wednesday at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

Steve Clarke’s Scotland won their Nations League games against Armenia in June but were defeated by Ireland, leaving them one point behind Ukraine.

Oleksandr Petrakov’s men lost to Wales in the World Cup playoff final after defeating Scotland at the same venue, and they continue to battle the adversity of war back home, despite relegation from League A of the Nations League after having to forfeit points after the game against Switzerland was called off due to COVID-19.

Scotland manager Steve Clarke says he purposefully left Lewis Ferguson out of the Nations League squad so that he could settle into Serie A.

Clarke’s team will face Ukraine on Wednesday, but Ferguson will not be present. The star joined Bologna in the summer but has been absent from recent matches due to a change in management.

“Lewis is alright, I’ve spoken to him,” Clarke added. He traveled to Bologna not knowing he was suspended and missed the first two of games. Their manager was under pressure and was eventually fired. I could have brought Lewis over, but I have Ryan Jack and Kenny McLean returning from the summer.

“So I told Lewis that it’s better for him to stay at Bologna, impress the new manager, and earn a spot in the first team.” Lewis is unquestionably one for Scotland’s future. I have no doubt he’ll be part of the Bologna squad shortly.”
