This article provides NFL Week 2 Schedule for 2022/23. In Week 2 of the NFL season, nine of the ten teams who made the playoffs the year before suffered losses. That opened the way for some young, promising teams with an eye on the 2022 playoffs to make their case this year.
In 2021, Baltimore and Miami fell short and failed to make the playoffs. This week two matchup between them is a highlight of the week for both teams. Tua Tagovailoa has a good improvement with the help of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, and Lamar Jackson may have JK Dobbins back. The Thursday Night Football match between the Chiefs and the Chargers received a lot of attention, but that game should be just as exciting to watch if you’re interested in a high-scoring contest.
The Vikings also made an early statement with a 23-7 win over the Packers in Week 1. While Green Bay tries to avoid a 0-2 start against division rival Chicago on Sunday Night Football, Minnesota may take the lead in the NFC North at Philadelphia.

Los Angeles Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5)

The Chiefs won the 1st meeting between these two teams, a TNF nail-biter that went overtime, 34–28. Moreover, the away club has won the last four matchups. Six different Kansas City players score TDs in NFL Week 1. Chargers need to get a running game behind Justin Herbert, who might be missing Keenan Allen (hamstring) (hamstring). It’s a victory for the home team.
Pick: Chiefs 32, Chargers 27
The Browns are taking on the New York Jets (-4.5)

Joe Flacco is 17-3 against the Browns as a starter of the match, but that was with the Ravens. Cleveland will unleash Myles Garrett after the Jets were only 2 of 14 on third down against Baltimore. The Browns are 2-0 and getting plenty of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

Detroit Lions vs Washington Commanders (-1.5)

The team is a road underdog despite Carson Wentz’s impressive first game as a starter for the Commanders (he threw four touchdown passes against the Jaguars). Dan Campbell’s Lions dug themselves a deep hole against the Eagles, but they rallied to make a game of it. A field goal at the buzzer would win it for either team.
Pick: Commanders 24; Lions, 21
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints (-2.5)

Despite the Buccaneers’ victory in the playoffs, the Saints have a perfect record against Brady since he joined Tampa Bay in the regular season. The Buccaneers (152 rushing yards) and Saints (151 rushing yards) carried the ball efficiently in the opener, and whoever helps Tom Brady or Jameis Winston more in that area wins that game. The buccaneers have to finish in the red zone. To the very last play, Brady brings the winning touchdown.

New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (-2.5)

The Giants, with Brian Daboll at the helm, have a chance to shock the NFL by starting the season with two wins. With 194 total yards against the Titans in Week 1, this game will be an excellent opportunity to rehash the 2018 NFL Draft discussion between Baker Mayfield and Saquon Barkley. There was another attempt at a comeback led by Mayfield, and they failed.
Pick: Panthers 24-22 Giants
New England Patriots vs Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5)

The status of crucial players like Mac Jones (back) and Najee Harris (foot) must be determined (foot). The Steelers must find ways to generate a consistent pass rush without T.J. Watt (pectoral muscle). However, in Pittsburgh’s brand-new Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers shocked the visiting Patriots.

Indianapolis Colts (-4.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Colts were a Week 1 disappointment in a tie against Tennessee. Given the talent Matt Ryan has to deal with. They can’t afford to lose on the road against a Jacksonville club that’s only getting better. Pederson and Frank know each other well from the Super Bowl success in Philadelphia.

Miami Dolphins vs. Baltimore Ravens (-3.5)

This could turn out to be the finest game of the day. Both Lamar Jackson and Tua Tagovailoa performed well without the help of a reliable rushing game in the season opener. With a win here, the Dolphins’ roster and Mike McDaniel’s reputation will reach new heights.

The 49ers’ running offense suffered from both the lackluster performance of Trey Lance’s debut unit and Eli Mitchell’s knee injury. Is Deebo Samuel going to be used more often now? The Seahawks have won the last three consecutive games in San Francisco to take the lead in the NFC West series. This isn’t a layup for S49ers by any means.

Cincinnati Bengals (-7) vs. Dallas Cowboys

Before Dak Prescott’s injury, this game was almost a sure thing, and now that he’s out, Dallas has Cooper Rush back as their backup quarterback. Despite Joe Burrow’s disastrous performance in Week 1 with four interceptions, the Bengals should be back on track. The interesting subplot involves Ja’Marr Chase and Trevon Diggs, but Cincinnati wins easily.
Pick: Bengals 31, Cowboys 20
Denver Broncos vs. Houston Texans (-10)
CBS, Sundays at 4:25 p.m.

Denver will host Houston, which tied with Indianapolis, in Russell Wilson’s first game with the Broncos. Texans’ Davis Mills has been impressive, but he will face a tougher challenge when traveling. In Week 1, Houston’s running offense averaged just 2.7 yards per carrying. Against Denver, that just won’t do.
Pick: Broncos by three touchdowns (28-19)
Las Vegas Raiders take on Arizona’s Cardinals (-3.5)

There are several clubs returning from last season’s playoffs that are hoping to avoid a 0-2 start, including the Cardinals and the Raiders. In the previous week, both pass defenses were completely dismantled, although by very good quarterback play. We’ll be rooting for the home team despite the fact that the afternoon matchup between Derek Carr and Kyler Murray promises to be a high-scoring affair. Las Vegas’ new head coach, Josh McDaniels, wins his first game.

The Chicago Bears take on the Green Bay Packers (-9.5)

The Packers’ loss to the Vikings in Week 1 brought up memories of their defeat to the Saints in Week 1 of the previous season. There is no need for alarm unless Justin Fields and the new head coach Matt Eberflus come to Lambeau Field and force the issue. In that case, you should be concerned. Matt LaFleur, head coach of the Packers, has a perfect record of 6-0 versus the Chicago Bears, with an average margin of the victory of 12.5 points per game. It will be less, but Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have a stronger chance of winning at home since they have a fresh bunch of receivers.
The pick: the Packers will win 28-16.
Buffalo Bills take on the Tennessee Titans (-9.5)
Monday, 7:15 p.m.

The previous week, we made a wager against Buffalo and based on how they seemed, we were right. It is possible that we will not do that for the remainder of the season. The Titans have won the two most recent matchups, although both victories came on their home turf. The Bills were victorious in all of their home games during the previous season, but this one won’t be one of them. The unexpected start of 0-2 for Tennessee is in store for them.
Pick: Bills 31, Titans 23
Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles (-2)
Monday, 8:30 p.m.

Both of these teams are looking to make some noise in the NFC playoff picture, making this a legitimate clash for Monday Night Football. Both Justin Jefferson (184 yards) and A.J. Brown (155 yards) had outstanding performances as receivers during the first week of the season. In the end, the pass rush of the Vikings will be enough to aggravate Jalen Hurts to cause a few mistakes, and Kirk Cousins will continue to flourish in the scheme that first-year coach Kevin O’Connell has designed for him.
