The injury to Dak Prescott has rocked the Dallas Cowboys’ season to its core

The Cowboys’ start to the season could not have been worse. Because of Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott’s hand injury, the Cowboys’ offense never got going. Prescott reportedly will be out for four to six weeks due to surgery.

After the game, Prescott felt down in the dumps. Prescott told reporters in Dallas, “It’s obviously sad, but injuries happen, can’t necessarily control it, just unfortunate.” Not being able to help my team out as much as they need me to right now hurts more than anything, especially given the strong start we had.

I was hoping for a quicker turnaround time. Thus the fact that I won’t have much chance to reply for a while is disappointing. But like I have done in the face of hardship, I will plunge in with both feet, do my best, and be confident that I will emerge stronger.

Prescott got hurt, so backup QB Cooper Rush finished the game. Completed 7 of 13 rushes for 64 yards. Unless Dallas makes a trade, Rush will start for the team in Week 2. Dallas may potentially enhance their backup quarterback situation by acquiring players like Jimmy Garrapalo or Mason Rudolph.

The offense as a whole will need to make up for Prescott’s absence. On Sunday night, they struggled to do much of anything against a strong Tampa defense. On 10 attempts, RB Ezekial Elliott gained 52 yards. Noah Brown, at wide receiver, had the team’s best receiving stats with 68 yards on five grabs.

After a strange first game, the Bengals are looking to settle down

In week one, the Bengals faced their archrivals, the Steelers, and they hoped to get off to a good start. Of course, the Steelers defense had other ideas. DE On the opening play of the game for the offensive, Cameron Heyward sacked QB Joe Burrow. S Soon after, on the next play, Minkah Fitzpatrick intercepted a Burrow ball and returned it for a touchdown. Burrow threw four interceptions and lost a fumble, and the highly anticipated offense never recovered.

To their credit, the Steelers defense, as praised by Coach Zac Taylor. “You may have even seen a few of them. [T.J. Watt] leaps to his feet and makes an interception. They had a number of clutch plays. We’ll look them through and make any necessary changes at any level where we see fit. In addition, I think they made several excellent plays with the ball. The Pittsburgh Steelers deserve a lot of praise. They came prepared to play, and they made some spectacular plays on the ball.”

WR Tee Higgins is questionable to play against Dallas, so the Bengals may have to find a way to get back on track offensively without him. Higgins had a concussion in the first half of the defeat. The Steelers’ attack was limited to 16 points thanks to the Bengals’ defense. The Steelers were held to 267 total yards of offense, but the game came down to who could generate more turnovers: the Bengals or the Steelers.

In addition, the Bengals will work to strengthen their Field Goal unit. LS Clark Harris’s injury, a torn bicep, forced overtime and resulted in a missed field goal that would have won the game. Bengals WR Cal Adomaitis was called up from the minors after WR Harris was sent to IR.

This is the Bottom Line I need some advice on how to wager on this game.

Rating:

Because of their recent struggles, the Cowboys will be starting their backup quarterback in this crucial game, giving the Bengals a chance to get back on track. To stop Burrow and Chase would be impossible for the Dallas defense. Dallas’s run defense looked shaky against Tampa Bay, and Joe Mixon, Cincinnati’s rushing back, will present a formidable task in Week 2. This week, Burrow will feel more at ease after returning to game action for the first time since having his appendix removed during the preseason. The Bengals will likely reduce their turnovers and stack the box to have Rush use his arm against them.To sum up, I think the Bengals will lose by seven points.

Rating:

Dallas has lost their starting quarterback Dak Prescott, and starting left tackle Tyron Smith, two of their most valuable offensive players. The Bengals will prioritize stopping the run by putting more on Rush to pass to a weak receiving group sans Amari Cooper (now with the Browns) and an injured Michael Gallup. Combine that with Cincinnati’s stellar defense, and the under should be hammered in week two.

Choose the under 50.5 points.

In other words, Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys match score will exceed 50.5
