The middleweight bout between Jared Cannonier and Sean Strickland headlines tonight’s UFC Fight Night at the Apex.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to the Apex in Las Vegas for the final time this year, one week after an incredible pay-per-view, for an exciting program featuring a slew of competitors aiming to make their way into championship contention on Fight Night.
Cannonier will look to rebound after losing to former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya at UFC 276. He had five wins in his previous six fights before fighting Adesanya.
Strickland also competed at UFC 276 but was knocked out in the first round by Alex Pereira, ending a six-fight winning streak.
A win for either fighter will put them back in contention for a middleweight title shot later in the year, in addition to concluding the year on a high note.
