KSW 75 Who will perform?

During the KSW 75 gala, in the evening fight, there will be a fight for the light heavyweight belt between the reigning champion, Ibragim Czużigajew (16-5, 8 KO, 2 Sub), and the number two of this division, Ivan Erslan (12-1 1 NC, 8 KO, 1 Sub). At the top of the featherweight category, Damian Stasiak (13-8, 1 KO, 10 Sub), a former contender for the bantamweight belt, will face the invincible Robert Ruchała (7-0, 3 Sub). Czech knockout specialist Michal “Czarnobrody” Martinek (10-3, 6 KO, 1 Sub) will also return to the round grid.

Ibragim Czużigajew made his KSW debut in January this year. During the KSW 66 gala, he faced the long-time light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun and gave him harsh conditions in the cage. Ultimately, after a demanding, five-round duel, Czużigajew took the lightweight heavyweight title from the longest-reigning champion in KSW history. The 31-year-old has remained unbeaten since 2017 and is on the wave of seven wins in a row.

Ivan Erslan will fight for the KSW championship belt for the second time in his career. In 2020, he tried to take it from Tomasz Narkun, but then he had to recognize the superiority of the master in the cage. After this defeat, the only one in his career, the Croatian quickly returned to the path of victories and scored three wins by knockout. In a round cage, he smashed Przemysław Mysiala and Rafał Kijańczuk – he sent both of them to the boards in the first round of the match. Erslan has twelve wins to his credit, eight of which he recorded by knockout.

Damian Stasiak fought for the last time during the KSW 65 gala, during which he faced Lom Ali-Ekiev. The Pole gave a spectacular fight full of twists but finally lost it on points. “Webster” is a former contender for the bantamweight belt. In 2020 he moved to the featherweight category and faced Patryk Surdyn and Andrey Lezhnev. Stasiak ended both of these duels in a beautiful style on the ground, where he surrendered his opponents. The 32-year-old from Aleksandrów Łódzki has ten career wins to his name, which he earned by submission.

Robert Ruchała storms through the world of MMA and remains undefeated to this day. The 24-year-old from Nowy Sącz has won seven victories. He has fought four battles in KSW so far. After tapping Michał Domino and Daniel Bažant with the company’s bales, Ruchała scored another phenomenal young man, Patryk Kaczmarczyk. In the last fight, he smashed a talented fighter from Italy, Michele Baiano, at a total distance. The representative of Grappling Kraków will have a chance to record the most valuable victory in his career in front of his audience.

Michal Martinek is a former heavyweight champion of the Czech-Slovak organization Oktagon MMA. He made his debut in KSW in June at the gala with the number 71. His rival was Filip Stawowy, whom Martinek smashed at the total distance in a friendly style. In recent years, Michal has fought under the ACA brand flag. He also had the opportunity to appear at the gala of the popular series Dana White’s Contender Series. The former hockey player specializes in quick knockouts. So far, he has won fights this way six times, four of them in the first round.

Former light heavyweight champion, and today number one in this weight category ranking, Tomasz Narkun (18-5, 3 KO, 14 Sub), will return to his cage during the KSW 75 gala. The Pole’s rival will be experienced Brazilian Henrique da Silva, known for his knockout punch. (18-8, 16 KO, 1 Sub). The fight will take place on October 14 at the Strzelecki Park Amfiteatr Parku Strzeleckiego in Nowy Sącz.

Tomasz Narkun was the longest-reigning KSW champion in history. In the last fight, which took place during the KSW 66 gala, he had to recognize the superiority of Ibragim Chuzhigaev and lost his belt. Previously, the famous “Giraffe” defended the title five times. At that time, the Pole also had a series of four superfights, in which he twice defeated the legendary Mamed Khalidov and lost twice to the king of the heavy category, Phil De Fries. Tomasz is known for his unconventional fighting style. He has won fourteen duels by submission.

Henrique da Silva has had a prosperous career in mixed martial arts. For two years, he fought for the UFC organization, and before joining the American brand, he was on the wave of ten wins in a row. The famous “Frankenstein” has fought so far in Brazil, the USA, Croatia, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Japan and Slovakia. Da Silva has beaten his rivals eighteen times and won sixteen wins by knockout. This year Henrique has fought twice. And won twice ahead of time.

During the KSW 75 gala, two new KSW organisation players will debut in the round cage. The undefeated Adrianna Kreft (3-0, 1 KO, 1 Sub) will face the highly experienced Czech Petra Castkova (6-4, 1 KO, 1 Sub).
