Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone on transition from UFC to racing: 'I'll whip your ass'

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone not too long ago put the ending touches on a Corridor of Fame UFC profession. What’s subsequent for Cerrone? Racing individuals within the desert.

On the newest version of “Kevin Harvick’s Blissful Hour,” Cerrone mentioned how he is relishing racing.

“I do not cheat. I play by the foundations. Identical to preventing, I by no means cheated, ever. I at all times made weight. I by no means took any medicine. “He is like ‘oh, no, no, no, no, no, our steering pump was out, our gasoline pump saved shutting off. We needed to preserve pulling over.’ And so, I used to be like ‘alright,’ in order that was the closest I’ve ever been to whipping somebody’s ass out on the desert.”

Cerrone, 40, completed his UFC profession with 36 wins, 17 losses and two no-contests. These 36 wins featured 17 wins by submission and 10 knockouts. Cerrone was inducted into the UFC Corridor of Fame in 2023.

“Cowboy” truly has a hyperlink to the NASCAR Cup Collection, as he launched now-former Cup Collection driver Kurt Busch when the latter spoke on the 2023 NASCAR Awards and Champion Celebration in November of final 12 months.

Busch completed his NASCAR profession with 34 Cup Collection wins and, most notably, was the 2004 NASCAR Cup Collection champion.
