BKFC 37 takes place this Saturday night at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London, marking the third time this week that the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has held a fight card in the United Kingdom.
Tierney versus Lindsey in London’s BKFC 37

On March 4th, BKFC 37: Tierney vs. Lindsey will take place at London’s Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, marking the return of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship to the United Kingdom. There will be multiple fights between both domestic and foreign competitors on the fight card.

Connor Tierney (6-2, 3 KOs) of England faces Jake Lindsey (3-0, 3 KOs) of the United States in the welterweight main event. Rico Franco (6-2, 4 KOs) and Dan Breeze (1-1, 1 KO) are the two British boxers who will square off in the co-main event.

And at light heavyweight, Terry Brazier (0-0) takes on David Round (2-1, 2 KOs) on the BKFC 37 London card. At cruiserweight, Darren Hendry faces Corey Harrison (2-1, 2 KOs), and Lee Browne (1-0, 1 KO) faces Mason Shaw (5-4-1). Both Chaz Wasserman and Cedric Severac, cruiserweights themselves, are making their BKFC debuts as well.

In the main event, welterweight monsters feast.

This Saturday’s Main Event pits two of bare-knuckle fighting’s brightest welterweight stars, American Jake “The Gypsy” Lindsey and England’s Connor “Brum Town Bomber” Tierney. Tierney is currently ranked fifth in the BKFC welterweight division, but a win for Lindsey in London would vault him into the top five for the first time. Tierney has a 7-1 record overall, while Lindsey is 3-0 in the BKFC with no losses. The three-time UFC veteran Lindsey is going for his fourth consecutive stoppage, while the undefeated Tierney is going for his sixth straight win and fourth KO.

Focus on the Supporting Act

Acclaimed works in English A pair of hard-hitting welterweights, Rico “Bon Bon” Franco (6-2, 4 KOs) and Dan “Hurricane” Breeze (1-1, 1 KO), will make their BKFC debuts on Saturday, and both hope to leave an indelible impression on the BKFC’s worldwide audience. Franco has been one of England’s best bare-knuckle fighters for quite some time, and Breeze enters his BKFC debut with a perfect 10-0 record in professional boxing. Both Franco and Breeze are hungry for a big win in this must-see co-main event bout, and the welterweight division is one of the deepest in the BKFC.
