BKFC 32 Barnett vs Herrera Preview

According to recent announcements made by the organization, the event will take place on November 5 at Royale Caribe and will feature a main bantamweight event between Reggie Barnett Jr. (7-2) and Geane Herrera (1-0).

This will be the 15th time that BKFC has hosted an event in the state of Florida and the second time they have done so in Orlando.

Barnett Jr., who is 36 years old, competed for the last time in July when he defeated Jarod Grant, the titleholder at the time, to win the promotion’s interim bantamweight championship at BKFC Fight Night: Tampa 2. He has now won 4 of his last five fights for the organization, including this most recent victory.
Herrera, who is 32 years old and participated in mixed martial arts for the last time in 2018, is a former competitor for the UFC. Herrera stopped Abdiel Velazquez with punches in Round 2 of their bout at BKFC 19, which took place in July. This victory was Herrera’s first in the BKFC.

At the event known as BKFC-19, which took place on July 23, 2021, the dynamic and highly skilled Herrera, who is now rated second in the flyweight class, made an impressive entrance onto the scene with a devastating second-round knockout of Abdiel Velazquez. Herrera had a record of 10-3 in mixed martial arts competition, including four bouts in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), prior to joining the squared circle.

Middleweight competitors Jared ‘Captain Deadpool’ Warren of Florida and ‘Action’ Jay Jackson of Bay City, Michigan, square off as the co-main event of BKFC-32. Warren has a record of 4-2 and has knocked out three of his opponents in the first round. Jackson has a record of 2-1 and has knocked out two of his opponents. Following an outstanding performance at BKFC Fight Night Tampa 2 on July 23, 2022, when he defeated John Michael Escoboza by unanimous decision, Warren made his comeback to the boxing ring. After knocking out Terry Janoski in the third round of their fight at BKFC-25 on May 6, 2022, Jackson is looking to keep adding victories to his record.

After knocking out Arthur Walcott-Ceesay in the first round during BKFC Fight Night Jackson 2 on June 11, 2022, Taylor is ready to get back in the ring and continue his winning streak. The bare-knuckle competitions that Freyre has participated in have resulted in two decisive victories for the fighter.

In the women’s featherweight category of the BKFC, Jessica “The Black Widow” Borga of Lakeland, Florida, goes up against Brooke “The Guillotine Queen” Gilley of Wyoming, Montana. Both fighters are making their BKFC debuts.
