Katie Taylor vs Karen Elizabeth Carabajal biggest boxing challenge will be held this Saturday. Katie Taylor, who is undefeated, will defend her world titles against Argentine ace Karen Elizabeth Carabajal this weekend.

Katie Taylor’s unblemished record and title as undisputed lightweight champion are both on the line this weekend in London, as she meets Karen Elizabeth Carabajal.

Taylor will try to keep on track for a rematch with Amanda Serrano in a main-event showdown at Wembley Arena, following the pair’s instant classic in April.

Taylor, 36, defeated Serrano by a split decision in probably the most important bout in women’s boxing history, and fans are eager to see Taylor and the unified featherweight champion square off again.

However, Olympic gold medalist Taylor must first defeat the unbeaten Carabajal, 32.

Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano by a split decision in an important women’s boxing match at Madison Square Garden in April.

The Bray Bomber will now attempt to extend her professional record to 22 successive triumphs over Carabajal.

The 32-year-old Argentinean is likewise unbeaten, having won 19 matches.

She defeated Lorena Edith Agoutborde late in the match, but she has never faced anyone of Taylor’s caliber.

Taylor made her Wembley Arena debut in November 2016, defeating Karina Kopinska.

“It’s hard to imagine it’s been almost six years since my pro debut there, so it’s amazing to go back now and headline,” she added.

“It’s been an incredible trip so far, but there are still a lot of great bouts out there for me, and I’m looking forward to what’s next.”

“I was really thrilled when I received the chance to challenge Katie,” Carabajal remarked.

“The effort has paid off. I’m not even thinking about giving Katie the victory. All of the belts will accompany me back to Argentina.”

After BOXXER’s recent bill at London’s O2 Arena, Hearn shared Taylor’s thoughts on all-female fight cards.

“About two years ago, DAZN approached us and said, ‘We’d like to headline Katie Taylor on International Women’s Day with a whole female card,'” Hearn explained on talkSPORT Breakfast on Wednesday.

“I was very excited.” ‘Wow, it would be wonderful for Katie and the sport,’ I thought. I went over to sit with her, and she stared at me as if she was about to knock me out.”

Betting preview: Katie Taylor vs Karen Elizabeth Carabajal

Taylor’s decision to take an easier fight after her fight-of-the-year contender with Serrano is understandable. She had been in a horrific war, one she could have to repeat in 2023. Still, Carabajal faces a difficult task in unseating one of the sport’s top female fighters pound for pound.

Taylor scores and keeps her opponents off balance with her quick hands and superb technique, yet she can bite down and brawl if necessary. She exhibited great fortitude in enduring Serrano’s strong strikes and utilized the early lead she gained to emerge victorious when the cards were read.

While there is a significant talent difference in women’s boxing, it is an understatement to suggest Carabajal is out of her depth here. She has never fought outside of Argentina, and her opposition is ineffective even by regional standards. She can only fight the individuals who put themselves in front of her, and to her credit, she is still undefeated, just 10 rounds away from an unexpected title reign.

We don’t know much about Carabajal, but with less punching power than Taylor, she has to outslick her. Even if Taylor is still grieving from the fallout from her conflict with Serrano, it will be shocking to witness. Taylor is 36 years old and has had a long and accomplished career, so going through her paces against an outmatched opponent isn’t surprising.

Bettors rate Carabajal’s chances as “needs a miracle,” although we’ve seen upsets with larger odds before.

Boxing prediction and best bet for Katie Taylor vs Karen Elizabeth Carabajal:

Taylor Moneyline prediction

Taylor wasn’t battered to within an inch of her life, thus she won’t be so badly depleted to lose to Carabajal. These are the kinds of confrontations she could keep winning for another decade. There’s no need for her to enter a dangerous bout with the Serrano rematch on the horizon.

Taylor will have every advantage in the ring, including power punching, despite the fact that both fighters have stoppages in the single digits. Crisp combinations and quick hands will be on display to provide the hometown audience with plenty of one-way action.

Taylor should win without a doubt. The true issue at -6,000 is finding a solid prop to add for the weekend bet slip. Picking Taylor on the Moneyline is as safe as it gets, but the value is found elsewhere.

Katie Taylor is the Moneyline favorite (-6,000 at DraftKings)
