They both AnEsonGib vs Austin McBroom competed in the legendary YouTube vs. TikTok boxing battle in 2021, but against different opponents.
KSI has added to the intrigue by promising to confront the winner of the battle, even if his friend Gib wins.
According to McBroom: “I can’t always take him seriously because I’m not sure if he’s performing or being genuine. To be honest, I believe he has experience, but not on my level. He has an uncomfortable demeanor, is unathletic, and prefers video games; he didn’t do a push-up until he was 21. With all that experience, he hasn’t fought anyone.”
AnEsonGib reacted, saying: “He’s a D1 athlete who picks up sports quickly, but he lacks experience, which money cannot buy. My experience is extensive; I’ve been in the business since the early days of YouTube boxing. He’s probably here to replicate what KSI and the Pauls have done. I don’t think he’s fallen in love with the sport as I have, or that he’s obsessed with it like I am.”
