This week three California courses will host the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, one of the final stops on the 2022-23 PGA Tour’s winter West Coast swing.
In terms of wagering, it’s a 72-hole stroke play event, but in reality, there’s also the best ball event with each pro partnered with an amateur. On Thursday, the event moves to Spyglass Hill, Pebble Beach, and the Monterey Peninsula.
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2023 will still feature several A-listers, even though many of the world’s best golfers will skip the event that year. Caesars Sportsbook currently has 2017 winner Jordan Spieth listed as a 9-1 favourite to win the 2023 AT&T Pro-Am.

From February 2 through the 5th, 2023, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be held. In the tournament’s three days, the world’s greatest golfers will square off against one another in an exciting head-to-head competition.
Golf courses such as Pebble Beach’s and San Francisco’s Spyglass Hill are popular tourist attractions, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course will host the first three rounds. Pebble Beach Golf Links will be the site of the final round.

Although the official tournament doesn’t start until February 2, some fun preliminary competitions have been planned for the day prior. On February 1, you can watch your favourite actors, musicians, and sportsmen battle it on the golf course.
On the golf course, you can spot famous people like Bill Murray, Gareth Bale, Aaron Rodgers, Jake Owen, Kira K. Dixon, Charles Kelley, and Illenium. However, it’s important to note that the sector is always evolving.
There will be three competitions of this type held at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Importantly, though, the Monterey Peninsula Country Club Shore Course and the Spyglass Hill Golf Course will remain closed to the public so that Pro-Am competitors can utilize them for practice.

The best predictions for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am of 2023:
Despite Spieth’s stellar performance in this tournament in the past, McDonald has him pegged for a disappointing finish. He took first place in 2017, second in 2018 and third in 2022. With no top-10 finishes this season and a missed cut at the Sony Open most recently, McDonald is concerned about Spieth’s current form.
According to McDonald of SportsLine, “his approach play has been slightly off over a sustained stretch.” He is not worth the price tag because he is 74th in strokes gained on the approach and 38th in wedge proximity and has further difficulties with the putter.
Alternatively, the expert can’t wait to see if Hovland can finally break through for additional triumphs this season. The Norwegian has won two tournaments at Mayakoba and the Hero World Challenge, both of which are courses where he has previously excelled. After finishing T-12 in the 2019 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach, he tied for T-38 at the 2020 Pro-Am, but a final-round 77 doomed him.
The 25-year-old is in the top 20 in scoring average and has never finished worse than 21st in any of his four tour tournaments this year.

For the 2023 Pebble Beach Pro-Am, McDonald has settled on four enormous long shots, each with odds of over 50-1. A golfer who is more than 80-1 but has the short game to do well on Pebble Beach could do well.
