Matteo Signani challenges Anderson Prestot for the match valid for the European middleweight title. The anti-doping operations were not carried out at the end of the first fight, so the Ebu ordered an immediate rematch between the two boxers. And the second chapter will take place on Friday, 18 November, in Savignano sul Rubicone (FC) at the Sporting 7 sports facility. The main match between Signani and Prestot will take place at 11.00 pm and broadcast live on Rai 2 and streaming on the Rai Play platform. In the co-main event of the evening (organized by Opi Since), the Italian super-bantamweight champion Vincenzo La Femina (11-0, 6KO) will challenge the Venezuelan Hector Betancourt (14-5-0, 11KO) over ten rounds in the super rooster.

A rematch to define who will be the legitimate European champion at the limit of 72.5 kilos: the Romagna Matteo Signani (31-6-3, 11KO) and the French Anderson Prestot (25-2-0, 13KO) will compete on November 18th , in Savignano Sul Rubicone (FC) at the Sporting 7 Sports Facility, in the Main Event of an event organized by OPI Since 82 and Around Sport, with the support of the Nello Carabini Italica Boxing Club and with the patronage of the Municipality of Savignano sul Rubicone.
The match will be broadcast live on RaiDue starting at 11.15 pm, while RaiSport from 10.15 pm will cover the evening.
An event for which the presentation press conference was held today, in which the two protagonists of the European challenge took part. “I thank everyone: the organizers, the municipality of Savignano, the Sponsors. Thank you very much.” these are Signani’s words “I’m prepared, more prepared than ever and on Friday evening in the ring I’ll prove it. I want my belt.” Prestot replied to the jaguar: “A nice welcome and a great organization, but I’m here to win. I’m ready and I’ll have a great match.” Closing the circle of declarations was the Promoter Alessandro Cherchi: “In Savignano we found the ideal hospitality to organize this event. We are happy to give Matteo Signani the chance to regain the European title.”
The first fight between the two boxers took place in France, in Massy, on June 24, 2022, and lasted just five rounds: an accidental cut suffered by Anderson Prestot forced the doctor to interrupt the match, decreeing the reading of the judges, with the assignment of the European title to the points for the French fighter. At the end of the boxing evening, as per practice, there should have been an anti-doping control for every match that has a belt up for grabs. Which, however, on Massy’s evening, never happened. Consequently, the European Boxing Union, following complaints from OPI Since 82 and the Italian Boxing Federation, imposed a rematch between Signani and Prestot, whose organization was awarded by the Milanese promotion in private negotiation.

The main match of the sub-clou between the Italian Supergallo Champion Vincenzo La Femina (11-0, 6KO) and the Venezuelan Hector Betancourt (14-5-0, 11KO).
In the undercard space for young prospects: the Roman middleweight Giovanni Sarchioto (5-0, 5KO) in the Italian Army will fight a match in the middleweight category on the distance of eight rounds against the Spanish José Manuel Lopez Clavero (16- 19-1, 5KO); the Romagnolo Nicolò Amore, the super lightweight of Ring Side Boxe Rimini, due to injury will no longer be present in the card, but the professional debut of Diletta Cipollone has instead been confirmed, for several years in the Italian national team as an amateur boxer, who will debut in the super bantamweight category in a four-round match against Serbian Marijana Dasovic (0-16-1).
To open the evening of professional boxing, three amateur boxing matches with athletes registered in the sports club Nello Carabini Italica Boxing Club.
