This next weekend will see Mayweather vs Asakura Fight. Sensational boxer Floyd Mayweather makes his long-awaited return to the ring for another combat, this time against Mikuru Asakura, a Japanese mixed martial arts fighter.

Since their fight in May, the retired boxer with a perfect record of 50-0 has not been in the ring since their altercation with their sparring partner Don Moore.

According to the Associated Press, the ex-boxer will engage in a mixed martial arts bout against Mikuru Asakura in Japan in September. This will be the fighter’s second exhibition in the country since he retired from professional boxing five years ago.

Mayweather fought Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in the country in 2018, an event that he turned up to two hours late for before putting Nasukawa down three times in a matter of two minutes, leaving him in tears when his corner called the fight. Mayweather won the fight.

The boxing sensation decided to retire from the professional game with a perfect record of 50-0. Many people consider him the best boxer in the history of the sport. His ridiculously long career in the sport has earned him, at the very least, a place in the discussion, which is praiseworthy in and of itself.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to walk away from something so amazing, which is why “Money” has agreed to participate in a parade of demonstration bouts. A lot more are scheduled to take place in the coming months.

This coming Sunday, Mayweather will compete against Mikuru Asakura in a three-round exhibition bout at the world-famous Saitama Super Arena as part of RIZIN 38. The bout will be an exhibition.

Following his decisive victory over Tenshin Nasukawa in December 2018, the 45-year-old will have the opportunity to expand his influence in Asia at this encounter. This triumph came about in December 2018.

About Mayweather vs Asakura:

It’s unlikely that an exhibition fight between Mayweather vs Asakura will be all that different from his previous bouts. Mikuru has a record of 16-3-1 in his mixed martial arts career and is now competing in the Rizin promotion. In comparison, Mayweather had a perfect record of 50-0 during his boxing career.

Mayweather will have a significant edge if the bout is held according to boxing regulations, just as he did when he competed against Conor McGregor and Tenshin.

Mikuru will be much less of a size and weight disadvantage than Tenshin because he fights about 145–150 pounds, while Tenshin is closer to 125 pounds. This is one of the key differences between the two. Mayweather competed in the welterweight division for the majority of the latter part of his career (140-147 pounds).
