On Saturday, October 15, Liam Paro vs Brock Jarvis will fight at the South Bank Piazza in Brisbane for the WBO Global Super-Lightweight Title. The fight, Matchroom’s first in Australia, will be broadcast live to subscribers worldwide on DAZN. The super-lightweight fight between Liam Paro and Brock Jarvis will be the main event of Matchroom’s first-ever Australian show, which will take place later this year.

Matchroom Boxing, which promotes Anthony Joshua, Canelo Alvarez, and Katie Taylor, announced that Paro (22-0) would fight Jarvis (20-0) in the headline event of the promotion’s first show in Australia.

Newcomer Skye Nicolson will also be making an appearance, and heavyweight Demsey McKean will fight again in his home state of Queensland.

When does the Liam Paro vs Brock Jarvis match take place?

The date of Saturday, October 15, has been determined after a short delay.

This is a significant week for Australian boxing, with George Kambosos rematching Devin Haney for the undisputed lightweight title the next day in Melbourne.

In December, Paro faced Yomar Alamo on the undercard of Jake Paul’s main event. It will be a whole year since Jarvis’s last fight, a unanimous decision victory over Alejandro Frias.

The Event will be started at 04;00 am (ET) and DAZN subscribers will be able to watch the bout in Australia and around the world.

While DAZN launched in Australia a few years ago, this will be the first local event to stream on the service.

Jarvis and Paro have arranged a meeting for the South Bank Piazza in Brisbane.

While Paro now calls Brisbane home, his hometown of Mackay will undoubtedly rally behind him.

Nicolson and McKean, both from Queensland, will also fight in bouts commemorating their home state.

More than 2,000 people can fit within the arena.

Paro (22-0, 13 KOs) is the reigning WBO 140-pound champion and will look to make a splash in his home city of Brisbane to launch the new age of Matchroom Australia. After defeating Yomar Alamo in Tampa, Florida, in his American debut, the 26-year-old signed a promotional contract with Hearn in December.

Jarvis (20-0, 18 KOs) enters the battle fresh off of his debut fight in the United States, a dramatic shootout victory over Alejando Rodriguez in Fresno, California, in the fifth round. The 24-year-old fighter, who has fought 20 times, won 18 of those bouts inside the distance, and he has promised fans more excitement in his next bout.

Krystina Jacobs vs Skye Nicolson

The undisputed Commonwealth featherweight title will be decided tonight between Nicolson, a 4-0 Olympian from Tokyo, and Tasmania’s Jacobs, who has a 6-3 record.

Southpaw McKean, unbeaten at 21-0, battles German veteran Korte, 18-1-1, for the IBF intercontinental heavyweight title.
