In one of the final fights of 2022, two super flyweight belts Kazuto Ioka vs Joshua Franco are on the line.
On New Year’s Eve, a super flyweight unification bout will take place in Japan.
Japan’s Kazuto Ioka defends his WBO title, while Joshua Franco travels to Tokyo to defend his WBA (regular) title.
Ioka last fought in July, when he defeated Donnie Nietes at the Ota-City General Gymnasium, the same venue as Saturday’s fight.
Franco’s most recent fight occurred in August of last year against Andrew Moloney.
