Mayweather had already competed in four exhibition matches before this one, two of which were against other YouTubers like Deji, Logan Paul, and Mikuru Asakura, a Japanese mixed martial arts superstar.
While everything was going on, Olatunji won his first bout as a professional in August by defeating another content creator named Fousey. Before this, Olatunji had lost three battles to Jake Paul, Vinnie Hacker, and Alex Wassabi.
