This Saturday Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers will face each other. Floyd Mayweather will be making his first trip to the United Kingdom in his legendary career. This coming February 25th, Mayweather will compete in his sixth exhibition fight against MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers.

Though he has an MMA record of 5-2, Chalmers is better known for his appearance on the MTV show Geordie Shore. Unlike Mayweather, who is undefeated at 50-0, the 35-year-old has only boxed once. Mayweather’s bout with Chalmers is merely the most recent of his exhibition bouts. Mayweather has faced kickboxers, YouTubers, and MMA fighters in exhibition matches since his retirement following his 2017 victory over Conor McGregor. In November, he defeated Deji via technical knockout.

Apart from this main event, the undercard features a wide variety of events, guaranteeing that everyone will have a good time. Battles are being fought by seasoned veterans, up-and-coming young fighters, and even reality TV stars. In this article, we take a look at the entire main card for Mayweather vs. Chalmers.

Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers Preview

Mayweather is finally making his long-awaited UK debut on May 2 at London’s O2 Arena, where he will face Geordie Shore’s, Aaron Chalmers.
As part of Mayweather’s ongoing series of exhibitions against fighters from the entertainment industry, the boxing legend will face the reality TV star turned professional MMA star. In November, Mayweather fought British YouTube star Deji in an exhibition in Dubai; the bout was part of a misfits boxing card that also featured Tommy Fury.

This fight takes place the night before Fury’s bout with Jake Paul, following previous speculation that they would be on the same card. Mayweather, who had one of the most decorated professional careers in sports history, is continuing his retirement with this exhibition fight.

Having spent the vast majority of his career fighting in the United States, this will be Mayweather’s first fight in the United Kingdom. In that time, Chalmers has fought seven times, but he hasn’t fought in the Octagon since 2020, so facing Mayweather in a boxing exhibition will be quite the challenge.
Originally, Mayweather was scheduled to fight Muay Thai superstar Liam Harrison, but after Harrison pulled out with an injury, Chalmers stepped in.
