Brent Vitiello and Daniel Holmes of Married at First Sight Australia 2022 have placed a bet on who will win their highly anticipated boxing battle on October 15.
After their antagonism spilled into the real world, the two MAFS grooms are poised to take their TV spat to the Team Ellis boxing ring at Melbourne Pavilion.
Brent and Daniel sparred over who was better prepared for the fight during a press conference with Team Ellis’ Matt Testro on October 5.
“How sure are you, Brent?” “How sure are you, champion?” Daniel made fun of his opponent. “Are you sure you’re going to win?” Make a wager on it.”

The intruding groom then challenged Brent to a $1,000 wager on the fight.
“It’s me versus lettuce,” Brent pondered. “Oh, f*ck yeah, finished.” “I’ll bet you $1,000, brother.”
Daniel, on the other hand, was skeptical that his on- and off-screen competitor could pull the appropriate punches, claiming he’d make “easy money” on the day.
“You heard it first here, $1,000 bet.” That’s how certain you are… “Nice,” he remarked. “Easy money, because I’m partying with that money after the fight.”
“Thank you, brother.”
Daniel’s unsavoury decision to post a death notice-style promotion before of the celebrity boxing match prompted the acrimonious press conference.
