The huge event Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall will finally resolve their long-running dispute on Saturday in a historic night for women’s boxing.
The main event will be a fight for the undisputed middleweight titles, and you can watch it for free.
Shields defends her WBC, WBA, IBF, and Ring Magazine middleweight titles against Marshall, who defends her WBO crown.
The fight was supposed to take place on September 10, but it was postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The WBC has recently announced that a new ‘Elizabethan Belt’ will also be available on Saturday.
Shields, who calls herself the “Greatest Woman Of All Time,” is a two-time Olympic champion who has only lost once as an amateur or professional, versus Marshall in 2012.
Marshall, on the other hand, was knocked out in the first round of both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games and has only one world title to his name, whereas Shields has reigned as unchallenged champion in two weight classes.
Despite this, the Hartlepool fighter is largely regarded as the most powerful striker in the women’s game, having stopped 10 of her 12 opponents to date, and the 31-year-old is confident of ending another bout before the final bell.
The main event is the first-ever all-female card to be hosted in the United Kingdom.

What was said about Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall?
There has been a lot of trash talk, both before and after the bout was announced, with Shields being particularly loud.
Shields stated in their ‘The Gloves Are Off’ episode that her upcoming opponent has improved since their amateur fight.
‘I believe she’s become worse since 2012,’ she explained. ‘Her ability and everything. Nobody remembers you fighting on one of the biggest cards when she was in America.

‘Now she comes to the United Kingdom, her homeland, her native nation, and she’s a ‘knockout queen’? But that’s the advantage of being British.’
The American further claimed Marshall is resentful of his lack of amateur success.
‘Are you upset because you didn’t win an Olympic gold medal?’ Shields explained. ‘You ought to be. In 2012, you let your entire country down. You lost the first day despite being the favorite. You should be miserable.’
Marshall, on the other hand, maintained that she has always been superior to Shields.
‘I’ve always had Claressa’s phone number,’ she explained. I believe she has improved. I believe she is a completely different person than when we boxed as amateurs.
‘She’s boxing like a pro now, and she’s a better fighter than she was in 2012.’
‘We’ve arrived, and I’m completely transformed, physically and mentally. On September 10, I will be the unquestioned world champion.’
